That’s not good because some of them might be old and unnecessary or even corrupted. Cleaning up the registry and fixing the corrupted entries will protect the system from any annoying system crashes.

Each and every Microsoft Windows Operating System has a system called registry. The registry is the most significant part of your computer. If the registry gets filled up with unwanted files or the files get duplicated and distorted, thus would cause, error messages, slow boot ups, malfunctions and may also experience sluggish performance. The registry in your computer holds the wealthiest part of information about the set up and configuration in your computer. In saving a file and deleting it, downloading a program and uninstalling it, the registry keeps track of that deleted file and uninstalled program, and it also does not delete them. What would remain in the registry are, invalid data, hidden errors and bugs.

Windows XP Registry Repair Software, enables to recover Windows XP system that would not start because of corruption in the registry. But before you execute your Windows XP Registry Repair, you would want to make a new Windows restore point and a back up registry. So if damages may occur while repairing your system, you can go back to where you started.

1. First, go to Start; 2. and then select – all Programs; 3. Accessories; 4. click System Tools; 5. and press System Restore; 6. Click the selection to create a new restore area; 7. You should name the area, and click the option to create.

This would now ensure that you have an up-to-date restore area for the operating system that you selected.

8. Next, select again the Start button; 9. Run and type the word, REGEDIT (in this way, you can open the registry editor)

You should remember to be very careful because messing up with the registry can be hazardous, if you don’t really know what you are doing.

10. Go to File then select Export; and pick an area where you want to save your .reg file. 11. Name the file and Save. (like something with the date in it)

This will create the file with all the important information in it should you need to go back to.

Are you receiving Windows registry errors, encountering slow computer problems, need computer crash help, or are having trouble with constant freezes? If virus scan, spyware, malware, and adware software didn’t fix the problems Windows registry repair could be one of your only remaining options. What is the Windows registry system?

Microsoft Windows has one central location (registry) where files are kept including those containing the settings and options for the operating system, software, hardware, and other functions that allow our computer systems to run smoothly if properly maintained. If registry repair and scans are not conducted, over time corrupt files can create a nightmare of symptoms for users.

Registry errors are created from software installs/de-installs, creating new users (due to preference keys), when chat programs are used, and when software is used to open new files. This can create a large registry size which requires compression. Each of these causes requires the need for registry repair through a complete registry scan on an ongoing basis.Below is a List of Symptoms Related to Registry Problems:Speed of PC is extremely slow

Consistent freezes, unexpected crashes, and slow performance

Start up (boot) process isn’t smooth and shut downs are abnormal

Rebooting the computer is becoming a common practice

Specific error messages are pinpointing a Windows registry problem

Inability to properly add and remove software on computer

Blue Screen of Death – BSOD

Longer computer response times

Slower browsing on internet

Software takes longer to start/launch

Anti-virus and anti-spyware removal software can’t detect or fix the

ProblemIs it a Good Idea to Do a Registry Repair?

If you are experiencing any of the above symptoms you may want to immediately consider a registry repair to save yourself time and remove frustration from your life. This was a difficult lesson for me. I was having constant crashes and could not keep my PC on long enough to save my work, causing me to come extremely stressed out and looking for immediate solutions. I first ran my McAfee online version of virus and spyware scans to fix the problems. To my surprise, none of the scans worked.

After a bit of research, I found the symptoms to be tied to the need for a registry cleaning and repair. After a swift registry fix through a downloaded registry fixer software, my computer was almost as good as new.

Manual registry repair is not advised because in the process of trying to fix a corrupt registry, you could cause deeper problems. Plus, there are many good tools available to do a cheap, efficient, and complete registry repair without taking the risk of hurting your operating system on your PC.

You will quickly notice that I am in favor of taking the fastest and easiest way possible to fix registry errors. This is done through a simple process of determining if you even have legitimate registry errors in the first place. This can be done through running a free registry repair software scan.

After determining whether or not you have errors, then you can pay for the repair feature in the software used to do the free scan. When you purchase the registry repair software, any good program will offer a one year license so you can maintain it throughout the year.
